What Wedding like... Greek Is About
Mina wants to be a painter and Petros works for a company. They meet during the carnival and fall for each other, but afterwards they lose touch. Years later they meet again without recognising each other and in the end they marry. Neither of them has the faintest idea how hard a business marriage is; the house, the money and the mother in law come into it straight away. The film speaks from inside Greek comedy of the sixties and treats marriage not as a romantic destination but as daily work. Xenia Kalogeropoulou appears in Vasilis Georgiadis’s hundred and four minute Greek film, completed in 1964.
