Willy lives alone and has never managed a relationship. One night he crashes his car and the man in the other vehicle dies. The dead man's pregnant girlfriend is left with nothing. Out of guilt Willy starts helping her; then the child is born and he finds himself in the middle of a baby's life. He takes on a responsibility nobody expected of him. Francesco Nuti both directs and takes the lead, with Isabella Ferrari and Anna Galiena in the cast. Nuti was among the most widely watched comic actors in Italy at the end of the 1980s, and this is a good sample of his register, with the laughter and the sadness set side by side.
