You Laugh

The film is made of two parts. Felice is in the first. Felice used to sing baritone on stage. A heart condition ended that career. He now keeps the accounts at the opera house. At night he laughs in his sleep. Nobody knows why. Then his closest friend takes his own life. His wife leaves him after that. Felice begins to think about his own end. The second part is set in Sicily. Two abductions are told there. A hundred years lie between them. The film sets the two side by side. Antonio Albanese and Sabrina Ferilli appear in the ninety nine minute film, an Italian production Paolo and Vittorio Taviani finished in 1998.
