Albert Dupontel

Albert Dupontel has won the Cesar five times over, and the five come out of only three films. Twice he took the directing and the writing category at one ceremony, with See You Up There and with Bye Bye Morons. The adaptation award for the first of those he shared with Pierre Lemaitre. The fifth win came from the original screenplay of 9 Mois Ferme. Bye Bye Morons brought him a leading actor nomination at that same ceremony too, and the award in that category went to someone else. Of the sixteen films in his catalogue he directed four, and the most voted is none of his own: Gaspar Noe's Irreversible stands at 3,300.
