What A Second Chance Is About
Andreas is a seasoned policeman with a good house, a wife and a newborn son. His partner Simon is divorced and drinking his way through the nights. A routine domestic call takes them into a junkie couple's flat, where they find a neglected infant shut in a cupboard. The law can do very little about it, and that is knowledge Andreas cannot carry. When disaster then strikes his own home, he makes a decision no version of him would have believed. Bier builds a moral collapse rather than a crime story.
