What Antony Is About
Joshiy's 2023 Malayalam film follows Antony, a man with authority in his town. The group around him includes Ann Maria, a student trained in martial arts. An unexpected turn puts them both in danger. The film solves its problems with violence and does not disguise that; the narrative does not try to vindicate Antony, and does not punish him either. Joju George and Kalyani Priyadarshan lead. The fight sequences take wide space. The tone follows the commercial form. Who it's for: those who like Malayalam action films. Who it's not for: viewers troubled by violence shown in detail.
