On New Year's Eve a group of friends who have celebrated together for years gathers again. The conversation turns to phones: how many secrets everyone keeps in a pocket, and what happens if the device falls into the wrong hands. The host makes a proposal: put the phones on the table, and let every message and every call that comes in be opened in front of everyone. Nobody can say no. Krisztina Goda's Hungarian film is an adaptation of the Italian production Perfetti Sconosciuti. The same story has been remade in a great many countries; the difference here is in the local detail. Éva Bata plays the host. The film takes place almost in a single room and draws all its tension from talk alone. The title is the Hungarian abbreviation of a new year greeting.
