What Crazy n' the City Is About
In Hong Kong the beat constable Jack Chan treats his work as a way of earning a living rather than a profession and wants nothing to do with anybody. His new partner Man Liu is the opposite: energetic, careful and someone who takes every call seriously, and there is friction between them from the start. When a serial killer appears in the city Man Liu swears to catch him, and Jack, impressed by her courage, begins quietly to watch her back. The film also brings the daily bustle of the local station, petty crimes and the people living on the street into the account. In James Yuen’s ninety three minute Hong Kong film Eason Chan and Joey Yung appear, with Francis Ng in the cast. It was completed in 2005.
