What Do not Panic, Major Kardos Is About
Mysterious murders are taking place around Lake Balaton. There is an old rumour attached to the area: that a great treasure was hidden there during the Second World War, and the rumour keeps drawing hunters. The investigation into the killings is handed to Major Kardos, but he is far from the only one after the treasure. Beside him is his loyal friend, a policeman nicknamed Droplet, and the two of them are as lively as the case is. The film works in the detective comedy mould that Hungary of the eighties liked. The eighty seven minute film by Istvan Bujtor and Sandor Szonyi G. was completed in 1982.
