Ente Veedu... Appuvinteyum

Vasu is a small boy. He lost his mother and his father married again. His stepmother Meera raises him with love and care. The child feels nothing missing at home. Then Meera has a son. The baby is named Appu. At first Vasu is devoted to his brother. In time, though, he sees the attention turning elsewhere. His parents are taken up with the baby. He thinks that he has been left behind. Jealousy settles into him. For a small child the feeling is a heavy one. At some point that jealousy leads to something that cannot be undone, and the baby dies. The film then shows how the household comes apart. The account looks from the side of the child, without accusing him. Kalidas Jayaram and Jayaram appear in the hundred and twenty eight minute film, an Indian production Sibi Malayil finished in 2003.
