Expiration Date

Ramona is an elderly woman. She lives bound tightly to her routine. One day her son Osvaldo does not come home. She sets out to look for him. The search goes on a long time. In the end she learns that her son has died. The news breaks her life apart. The film does not tell the story from a single angle. The view of three people is given in turn. One is Ramona herself. One is her new neighbour Mariana. The third is Genaro, who works in forensics. Each telling changes the meaning of the one before. The rhythm of the account shifts with the person too. Ana Ofelia Murguía and Damián Alcázar appear in the one hundred eleven minute film, a Mexican production Kenya Marquez finished in 2012.
