What George Michael: Live in London Is About
A record of the final two nights of George Michael’s 25 Live tour, filmed at Earls Court in London on 24 and 25 August 2008. The set runs across the whole career, putting Wham! songs, the solo hits of the eighties and nineties and material from later albums side by side. Andrew Morahan directed, keeping all twenty-three songs and taking in the stage design and the screens behind it. The odd fact about it is that after more than a quarter of a century of work, this was the first live concert release of George Michael’s career. It came out on DVD and Blu-ray in December 2009, with a short behind-the-scenes documentary about the tour alongside it.
