God Is My Co-Pilot

Robert L. Scott wanted to be a fighter pilot all his life. When the war comes he joins up. What he gets is a transport plane. The route is known as the Hump. It carries supplies into China. Scott is not content with that. He talks to General Chennault. He presses to fly with the Flying Tigers. That group had been fighting the Japanese since before Pearl Harbor. Chennault gives way in the end. Scott gets into a fighter at last, and meets an experienced Japanese pilot in the air. That pilot is known as Tokyo Joe. Dennis Morgan, Raymond Massey, Dane Clark and Alan Hale appear in the ninety minute film, an American production Robert Florey finished in 1945.
