What Gump Is About
The film is told through the eyes of a dog living on the street. Gump is looking for a place in the human world and for someone to stay beside him, and he has to endure whatever the road puts in front of him. F. A. Brabec adapted it from Filip Rožek’s book of 2019; the author got the idea while working for an organisation that rescued dogs. Most of the dogs in the film came from shelters and had no training, and the project was set up to raise money for shelters. Ivan Trojan supplies Gump’s inner voice. Brabec is also known as the cinematographer of Jízda.
