The Chaos Class Failed the Class

The unruly class at a private lycee had managed to forge diplomas and pass themselves off as graduates; when it comes out they all fail the year and return to school. Mahmut Hoca is in front of them again. This time there is a baby hidden on the premises, and the whole energy of the class goes into keeping it from him. Ertem Egilmez directed from a screenplay by Sadik Sendil, again drawn from Rifat Ilgaz's novel. The cast is the same as the first film: Munir Ozkul, Kemal Sunal, Tarik Akan, Sener Sen, Adile Nasit and Halit Akcatepe. Arzu Film produced and distributed. It was shot again at the Adile Sultan Palace in Istanbul, the location of the first film. As the second entry in the series it reached around two million admissions and became one of the most-seen films in the run. Who it is for: people who liked the first film and want the same cast again. Who it is not for: anyone expecting something new. It repeats the structure of the first film almost exactly and does not pretend otherwise.
