What Hello, Schoolgirl Is About
Two separate stories. Yeon-woo is thirty, a low-grade clerk at a district office, more innocent than his age would suggest, with a long run of unsuccessful matchmade dates behind him. In the neighbourhood he has just moved to he keeps running into the same schoolgirl, Soo-yeong, every morning, and she starts to feel something for him. Meanwhile Kang-sook, straight out of school, begins work at the same office and falls hard for an older woman, Ha-kyeong. Ryu Jang-ha adapted the film from Kang Full's webcomic, with Yoo Ji-tae as Yeon-woo. It handles the age gaps and the timing by tying the two stories together without forcing either of them.
