Japan Organized Crime Boss

A man comes out of prison. He comes from inside the yakuza world in Yokohama. All he wants is a quiet life. But his boss dies. With that death he has to take over the gang. His group is a small one. They are caught between two large powers. On one side is a big yakuza organisation from Osaka. On the other stands the Tokyo alliance. The two sides are fighting for control of the city. The man tries to hold to the old yakuza code. But the new generation facing him does not recognise that code. Koji Tsuruta and Bunta Sugawara take the leads, with Noboru Andō and Tomisaburō Wakayama also in the cast, in Kinji Fukasaku’s Japanese film of 1969.
