Arjun is in his mid thirties. He was a very gifted cricketer once; he was not picked for the national side, and when his turn came another obstacle appeared and he gave up. Now he works for the government and has been suspended; there is no money at home, he is at odds with his wife, and his son asks him for a jersey. He cannot find the money. Then he decides: he will play again. At his age no team wants him and he has to go through trials. Gowtam Tinnanuri writes and directs. Nani plays Arjun; Shraddha Srinath is in the cast. It is in Telugu. The film won national awards in India and Nani's playing was widely praised. The matter it works at is being late; the film counts the cost of a second chance and shows it through his family. The cricket was shot realistically and the technical side of the game is inside the narrative. Its marriage strand is its soundest side; his wife does not support him and the film does not put her in the wrong.
