Kalyug

Kunal and Renuka are newly married. Footage filmed of them without their knowledge at the hotel where they are staying is put on the internet, and their life falls apart overnight. Renuka cannot bear the pressure and takes her own life. Kunal is left behind. He sets out to find the operation that filmed and sold the material, and the trail leads him out of the country. Mohit Suri directed the film for the producer Mahesh Bhatt; it is Kunal Khemu's first adult role. The telling puts the filming without consent where it belongs, as a crime, and places the responsibility on those who did it rather than on the couple. The subject is the abuse itself, not the victim's shame. Emraan Hashmi, Amrita Singh and Ashutosh Rana are also in the cast.
