What Karz Is About
Ravi is killed by his wife not long after their wedding. Years later he is reborn as Monty, and while on holiday in Ooty as a young musician he starts having memories that are not his. Monty sets out to find the family of that earlier life, what he lost, and the woman who killed him. Subhash Ghai's 1980 film joins the idea of reincarnation to the musical, with Rishi Kapoor in the lead and the songs carrying the story. Our Turkish record never mentions the rebirth premise, which is the whole film.
