Le acrobate

There are two women. One is an analyst working in chemistry. The other works at a supermarket. Their paths cross through the death of an elderly woman. That death brings them together. A friendship forms between them. The account is built on that friendship. Women standing on their own feet is another strand of the film. The work is put together as a comedy. The death of a stranger is what starts everything between them. Teresa Saponangelo is in the cast too. Valeria Golino and Licia Maglietta take the leads, with Mira Sardoč and Angela Marraffa also in the cast, in Silvio Soldini’s Italian and Swiss coproduction of 1997.
