What Loves of a Blonde Is About
Andula, a young factory worker in a small town, is looking for love, and her odds are poor since there are sixteen women for every man there. After a night with Milda, a pianist visiting with a band from Prague, she is convinced this is it. Milda treated it as temporary and left assuming he would never see her again. When she hears nothing, Andula packs a bag and turns up in Prague at his parents’ flat. This early film from Miloš Forman, made inside the Czech new wave, is mercilessly realistic and very funny at the same time.
