What Ma and Pa Kettle on Vacation Is About
The Kettles go to Paris. Their daughter in law’s parents come along. That family is called Parker. The trip was meant as a holiday. Pa has other things on his mind. He tries to buy racy postcards. Then somebody hands him a letter. He is asked to deliver it to a man named Adolph Wade. Wade is a spy. He is killed soon afterwards. Inez and Cyrus Kraft are the ones who did it, and they are spies as well. Pa ends up in the middle of the whole business, and the film plays it for comedy. Marjorie Main and Percy Kilbride take the leads in the seventy six minute film, an American production Charles Lamont finished in 1952.
