Manjadikuru

The story is set at the end of the seventies. Vicky is a boy of ten. He goes to Kerala for his grandfather’s funeral. The family house is in the country and full of people. The mourning period runs sixteen days. Through all of it everyone stays together. Relatives who have not met for a long time gather. Old matters slowly come to the surface. Inheritance, grudges and things left unsaid. The boy watches it from the edge. At the same time he learns something about himself. He comes to know his family and where he is from. The story is told by Vicky as a grown man. Years later he returns to the same house. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Thilakan appear in the hundred and twenty minute film, an Indian production Anjali Menon finished in 2008.
