What Operation Swallow: The Battle for Heavy Water Is About
The film reconstructs the acts of sabotage carried out in Norway during the Second World War. The aim was to stop Germany from obtaining the heavy water needed for an atomic bomb. The account shows the events in a manner close to documentary, in the real places and without ornament. Some of the actual figures of the period appear in the credits, which is to say the film was made together with people who lived through it.
