Otakus in Love

Mon is a man who makes comics. He does not draw on paper, though. He paints on stones and arranges them in boxes. Making a living from that is not easy. One day he meets a woman named Koino. Koino produces work as an amateur comic artist. She sells what she makes at conventions. She also dresses up and plays the characters. The two of them are at opposite ends of the same world. A relationship forms between them quickly. Their tastes and their habits collide, though. What follows has its ups and downs. The film was adapted from a comic. The account is built as an extravagant, noisy comedy. Ryuhei Matsuda and Wakana Sakai appear in the hundred and fourteen minute film, a Japanese production Suzuki Matsuo finished in 2004.
