Out West with the Hardys

A letter arrives for Judge Hardy. It was written by an old friend. She runs a ranch in Arizona. The ranch is in trouble. The owner of the neighbouring land will not renew the water lease. Without water the ranch cannot survive. The judge decides to help. He takes his family along. Everyone at home is out of sorts anyway. His son Andy has quarrelled with his girlfriend. So has his daughter Marian. On the ranch out west each of them deals with their own business. The judge, meanwhile, tries to untie the legal knot. Mickey Rooney and Lewis Stone appear in the eighty four minute film, an American production George B. Seitz finished in 1938.
