Life Begins for Andy Hardy

Andy Hardy has finished high school. He considers himself an adult now. He wants to start building his own life. His father, Judge Hardy, had hoped he would go to college. He wanted him to study law. Andy is not sure that is what he wants. He heads to New York City to find a job. Betsy Booth wants to help him. Pride keeps Andy from accepting any of it. Living alone in the city is not as easy as he thought. The money runs down and the work does not appear. In the end he finds a job. He starts taking out the receptionist at his office. Along the way he learns a few of life’s lessons. He concludes that he still has some growing up to do. Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland appear in the hundred and one minute film, an American production George B. Seitz finished in 1941.
