What Overlord: The Dark Hero Is About
Momonga is stuck inside an online game that shut down around him, and he is now a genuinely feared ruler under the name Ainz Ooal Gown. He has taken on the identity and the power completely, and what he wants is to make Nazarick the strongest thing in this world. The further he goes, the wider the distance grows between him and everyone else, his own servants included. This is not a standalone feature but a compilation cut assembled from the second half of the Overlord anime series, which makes it a recap for anyone who watched it and a fast way in for anyone who did not. What sets the series apart is that its protagonist is not a hero: Ainz is not trying to be good, and he never hesitates to use what he has.
