What Simulation Theory Is About
A concert film shot at the O2 Arena in London in September 2019. It is not a straightforward recording: woven through the concert is a fictional strand about a team of scientists investigating a supernatural anomaly appearing around the world. The band's most theatrical tour to that point therefore keeps moving between narrative and stage. Lance Drake directs it more as a show of production design than as a document of a gig. There is something to look at here even if you do not listen to Muse.
