Stopping the Steal

Dan Reed's 2024 documentary concerns the challenge to the results of the 2020 American election. The narrative gives that process in the words of people who worked inside it. Most of those speaking come from the same side. A former attorney general, White House staff and Republican officials in Arizona and Georgia give their own accounts; the documentary's argument is that the pressure came from within the party. The narrative does not enter the argument over evidence or list the court rulings. The focus is on what officials at state level went through, with the threats they received and the decisions they made described in detail. Who it's for: those who follow American politics and investigative documentary. Who it's not for: viewers who also want the other side's account; the documentary speaks only with those who resisted the challenge.
