What Summer Showers Is About
There is a widower of seventy. He lives in a poor suburb of Rio de Janeiro. His life has settled into a fixed shape. Then he meets a woman. She is of about the same age as he is. Between them love forms again. The account is built on that late love. Starting again at that age is what the film is about. The film runs drama, comedy and romance together. Life in the suburb is the ground the story stands on.
