Mace has separated from the man she was with for years and is returning to the country with her belongings; stuck for exceeding the baggage limit, she is helped by a stranger named Anthony. The two set off north together, towards Sagada. The film does not construct a love story; it describes the long need to talk that follows a separation and cannot be met by anyone. Mace talks constantly, repeats the same story, finds herself ridiculous and tells it again; Anthony mostly listens. It became one of the few Filipino independent films to succeed commercially, and Sagada turned into a destination after it. Angelica Panganiban's performance carries the whole thing.
