The White Cockatoo

There is an odd hotel on the coast of France. A young American named Sue Tally arrives there. The girl has come into a large inheritance. Two separate bands of crooks are staying at the hotel. Both are after the fortune and neither knows of the other. Sue is kidnapped. Three murders are committed in the hotel one after another. A girl is seen in two places at the same time. Strangers wander the corridors at night. Then they disappear. There is a hidden room in the building with no door. Sue does not know whom to trust. Everyone tells her a different story. The story is built as a mystery. The solution is hidden in the fabric of the hotel itself. Jean Muir and Ricardo Cortez appear in the seventy three minute film, an American production Alan Crosland finished in 1935.
