What The Window Is About
Antonio is eighty years old. He lives in a house in Patagonia. He cannot get out of bed. Today is a particular day. The son he has not seen for years is coming. The house is being made ready. A special bottle of champagne is brought out. Everything is to be perfect. Antonio has to wait. He looks out of his window. The Patagonian landscape is out there. Light, movement and life are in it. The longer he looks the more of the past he sees. Today and what is gone run into each other. The film takes place inside that wait. Antonio Larreta and María del Carmen Jiménez appear in the eighty five minute film, an Argentine production Carlos Sorin finished in 2009.
