TIGER & BUNNY: The Rising

After the Maverick affair, Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, known as Wild Tiger, and Barnaby Brooks Jr. go back to work as heroes in Hero TV’s second league. The partnership ends abruptly when Mark Schneider, the new owner of Apollon Media, fires Kotetsu, moves Barnaby up to the first league and pairs him with Golden Ryan, a new hero with enormous powers and an ego to match. Sent to look into a run of strange incidents tied to the city’s Goddess Legend, the heroes uncover three powerful NEXTs planning to bring Stern Bild down. Barnaby and Golden Ryan have to get past each other, while Kotetsu, now out of a job, tests what his own resolve is worth from the sidelines. The Sunrise production opened in Japan on 8 February 2014.
