What To Walk with Lions Is About
Loosely built on the last years of George Adamson, the Kenyan game warden who raised lions, the film finds him on the reserve he runs with his brother Terence. Tony Fitzjohn, a drifter, arrives to work for the two old men and takes to none of it; he is nearly mauled on his first day and is ready to leave when he learns his predecessor was killed the same way. The arrival of a lion cub he has to raise changes everything. From there he is drawn into the fight against poachers, armed bands and corrupt officials threatening the animals and eventually the park itself. Richard Harris plays Adamson.
