Under the Stars in the Sky

The film is about the Danish musician Tommy Seebach. He was one of the biggest pop names in his country. His name came up again and again at the Eurovision heats. Then at some point he is left outside. He stops being the man everyone wants. He tries to write one last song. He finds what he needs in his family. Ambition still pulls him away from them. The song looks like a last chance. The account is a family story as much as a career one. His wife and children carry the weight of his working and his drinking. His son Rasmus appears as a child and as a young man, while Anders Matthesen plays Seebach and Neel Rønholt his wife. The hundred and twenty minute film is a Danish production Kasper Gaardsøe released in 2025.
