What Unpaused Is About
This is a selection made up of five separate short films. All of them are set in the closed days of the pandemic and were shot in those days. The stories are built around love, friendship, starting again and second chances. Each part has a director of its own. How enclosed spaces narrow an account can be seen across all of them. The film gives the lockdown not as a story of catastrophe but from inside daily life. An emphasis on hope is the common tone of the selection. Gulshan Devaiah, Richa Chadha and Saiyami Kher are among those who appear. The hundred and thirteen minute Indian production was completed in 2020.
