Ragıp Elibol, a rich and extremely tight-fisted businessman, has separated from the mother of his children and married Dürdane. His son is at university and his daughter is at home waiting for a husband. One day four young people hit him with their car; with all the things they cannot afford to do on their minds, they kidnap Ragıp, pretend to be a secret organisation and demand a ransom. Then something they did not expect happens. Orhan Aksoy's film is the nineties version of the Kemal Sunal comedy. The kidnapping turns around fast and the comedy slides towards how money dries up the relations between people: nobody contributes to the ransom and everyone around Ragıp is happy with the situation. Sunal drops the familiar simpleton type and plays a man nobody likes. Yasemin Yalçın plays his wife.
