What Yossi Is About
Ten years ago Yossi lost Jagger, his partner, during their army service, and he has told nobody who he is since. He works at a hospital in Tel Aviv and moves between the ward and an empty flat. A chance meeting with a woman connected to that old loss cracks the routine open, and he gets in the car and drives south. Eytan Fox's sequel to Yossi and Jagger from 2002, with Ohad Knoller back in the role. The film is about grief a decade later, when it is no longer the pain that keeps a person still but the habit of staying still.
