What Young and Dangerous 3 Is About
This time the Hung Hing gang is up against its rival Tung Sing. To take over the ground in Hong Kong, Tung Sing arranges the killing of Hung Hing's chairman and pins it on the young leader Ho Nam. Ho Nam has to explain himself to his own gang and find the actual killer at the same time. His friend Chicken, meanwhile, falls in love in the middle of all this. Andrew Lau directs the third instalment of the Young and Dangerous series, which shaped a generation in 1990s Hong Kong. Ekin Cheng plays Ho Nam and Jordan Chan plays Chicken. The series is adapted from a comic, and it was also criticised for making gang life look too attractive.
