Lord Conqueror is a powerful warlord; wanting absolute power, he consults a seer and, following the prophecy, kills two boys' parents and raises the children himself. They grow up as Wind and Cloud, and the martial arts he teaches them may in the end bring him down. Andrew Lau directed; Aaron Kwok, Ekin Cheng and Sonny Chiba play it. Adapted from Ma Wing-shing's comic. It was among the first Hong Kong productions to use computer effects on a large scale and did very well at the time. The effects look dated now; its real strength is the design.
