What You're Never Too Young Is About
Wilbur, an apprentice barber, witnesses a jewel robbery at the shop and ends up with the diamond in his pocket without knowing it. When the killer comes after him he has to run. Short of the train fare, he passes himself off as a twelve-year-old and buys a half ticket. That is how he ends up hiding in a girls' boarding school, dressed as a pupil. Norman Taurog directs, with Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin. It is a remake of the 1942 The Major and the Minor, with Lewis taking over the part played there by a woman. It is among the best known of the films the pair made together.
