Beauty and the Boss

Baron von Ullrich is a banker in Vienna. He is wealthy and devoted to his work. The pull between him and his secretary is getting in the way of it. He decides to let her go. From now on business and private life will stay apart. In her place he hires the plainly dressed Susie Sachs. She works with great order and great speed. She gets all his affairs into shape. She keeps every distraction away from him. Meanwhile she falls in love with him herself. Then a business trip comes up. The destination is Paris. There Susie appears as an entirely different person. The film was made before the Hays rules tightened. The story is adapted from a Hungarian play. Marian Marsh and Warren William appear in the sixty five minute film, an American production Roy Del Ruth finished in 1932.
