What Black Is About
The film is set in the underworld of Kochi. Shanmughan is a well known enforcer there. He also holds a post in the police. Facing him is Carlos Padaveedan. The man is a lawyer and he runs the city’s underworld. The two of them have worked together a long time. Shanmughan does whatever he is asked. Then something changes. He finds his daughter. From that moment he wants a straight life. Getting out is not as easy as getting in. His old friends start plotting against him. The film moves in the register of noir.
