What Crash Test Aglae Is About
Aglae has given her life to her job at the factory; her work is to crash cars and measure the results, and she is the only person there who takes it seriously. When the plant is to be moved to India she agrees, to everyone's astonishment, to go with it, and sets out overland to the other side of the world with two colleagues. Eric Gravel goes directly at offshoring, but does it as an odd, quiet road comedy rather than a film with a slogan. India Hair's Aglae never smiles, and the film feeds on that stubbornness.
