Digimon Adventure tri. Part 2: Determination

The DigiDestined go to a hot spring park and the day goes well; only Joe does not come, because he is studying for exams. An infected Digimon, Ogremon, attacks Odaiba. At the same time Gomamon runs away from home and Mimi starts having trouble with the others. The group has to deal both with the threat outside and with their own coming apart. This is the second of the six parts of Digimon Adventure tri. The narrative is aimed at the audience of the original Digimon Adventure and shows the characters in adolescence: the old team no longer shares the same goals and dividing responsibility has become a problem. The weight of this part falls on Mimi and Joe. Directed by Keitaro Motonaga. Who it's for: Viewers following the Digimon series, and anyone who likes nostalgic anime continuations. Who it's not for: Completely closed to newcomers; there are many characters and nothing about the past is explained. The part does not conclude on its own either.
