Digimon Adventure tri. Part 6: Future

Keitaro Motonaga's 2018 anime is the final part of the Digimon Adventure tri. series. The world has begun to collapse; the uncontrolled Meicoomon absorbs Tailmon, who has undergone a dark evolution, and becomes a far more powerful being as the digital world is about to swallow the real one. The children must stand against that threat and close the division among themselves. In ending the series the film puts the meaning of the partnership at the centre: rebuilding a bond with Digimon who have lost their memories and accepting that it costs something each time. The story also closes the passage of the original group of children into adulthood. The action is heavier in this part. Who it's for: people who have watched the series from the start. Who it's not for: anyone new to it; the film explains nothing.
