Easy to Love

Carol thinks her husband has gone cold on her. She is set on finding out why. She suspects there is another woman. First she goes to the family doctor. Then she hires a private detective. In the end she does the better job herself. She finally says yes to Eric, who has been after her for a long time. She goes with him to an apartment building. Her plan is another thing: they will knock at the wrong door. Inside she finds her husband John with Charlotte, her closest friend. Instead of being ashamed John flies into a rage and accuses her. The fight moves home. Their daughter Janet looks at all this and says she has given up on marriage. She goes off with her young man anyway. The parents follow the pair to a hotel.
